Well, obviously Newton wasn't wrong--he just didn't think big enough.  But 
doesn't NASA have to use Einstein's theories once they get away from 
standard gravity?  Newton was concerned with mechanics within the  Earth's 
gravity field, and his theories form the basis of traditional engineering.  
Once you're outside of that, you need a bigger theory.
