For me, the answer is yes, and the artiste is Todd Rundgren. I consider
him to be America's equivalent to Pete Townshend.

As far as the Who are concerned, they have laid some real clunkers down
on albums and singles in their time, I'd hate to think anyone believed
every single thing they've ever done was magnificent.... let's not get
carried away!

I can't give you a well articulated reason for why I have loved the
music of the Who since 1965, I've tried to explain it for family and
friends, the nearest I can say is that I am moved by the Who's music
into emotions and feelings I can't get anywhere else.

Cheers,

John
