another Quad in New Jersey link

Can anyone explain the thinking here.  Is it the same idea as the amatuer 
London production?  Pete gives them the music and allows the locals free 
reign do what they want with the script.  How does this get it closer to 
production in New York or London by professionals?

What does this have to do with the Penhall script?
