According to a recent program on Desmond Morris's _Manwatching_ book, 
apparently half of us are.  The claim was that men's ring fingers 
grow slightly longer than their index finger at puberty, and women 
are genetically programmed to be attracted to this.  (For their part, 
men are genetically programmed to be maximally attracted to a female 
7:10 waist-to-hip circumference ratio).

And "deguello" was the name of the charge sounded by the Mexicans at 
the Alamo, indicating that no prisoners would be taken.
