'Who' Singer To Play Priest on TV
NEW YORK (AP) - Roger Daltrey - a Catholic priest?
That's what the lead singer of The Who will play as a guest star on ``Witchblade,'' a new one-hour series premiering in June on TNT,
the network said Wednesday. The show is about a New York detective, played by Yancy Butler, who encounters dark forces in her search
for justice.
Daltrey will portray a Catholic priest caught in a dispute between Nazis and the Vatican.
The 57-year-old singer has appeared in several movies and TV shows over the past 30 years, including ``Tommy'' with The Who in 1975
and ``Lightning Jack'' in 1994.
