can you help me?!

Umm, this may sound really soft and stupid and everything, but to be honest I don't care.  Lately I've taken to writing lots (and when I say lots I sincerely mean it and do not use the word lightly) of Who Fanfics.  Umm, fanfiction stories, but you probably already knew what that meant.  Anyway, even if I do say so myself, I happen to think they're pretty damn good.  And, I wouldn't mind seeing if I could get them published.  Now I have no idea of how to go about this, and I'm not sure if I should go to a mainstream publisher type or someone who publilishes more specialised stuff like Who stories.

Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about, what I can do and better still, do they know of any publishers I can send my stuff off to?  Any help you could possibly give me would be greatly appreciated!
