Talkin' `bout a Revolution; Pure pop for now people

> Sounds like it might be one to skip.

Brian:

It wasn't much. I feel like I wasted my time watching it. Keith was funny,
though. George Martin looks better than Keith Richards; isn't that amazing?
Marianne Faithful, on the other hand...YIKES!

> While MG is a great song, it does not rank (in my mind) as top pop.

Jeff:

I agree. MG isn't Pop at all, but hard core solid 100% Rock. The closest
thing to Pop on the album would be La La La Lies.

Laine:

AQO is a Pop album, or an attempt at a Pop album anyway. So Sad is
definitely Pop, and what about Magic Bus? Plenty of Pop on Sell Out, too.
But The Who weren't a great Pop band, they were the greatest Rock band.
During the Beatles special, I kept waiting for them to say something like
"The Beatles were this and that, but The Who were the ultimate Rock band.
Sadly...the entire two hour show came off as a great ad for the latest
Beatles rehash CD. You know, The Who would probably have made a lot more
money if they could sell their ads to a TV network rather than having to
pay to have them aired.
