You make some very good points.
We're all just being picky.  Having some fun conversation is all !!
No need to get the nickers in a twist.
Just to be accurate, no one said his playing was "too" sloppy.  It's just a
bit rough at times *right now*.  Simple observations from people who spend
much time looking and discussing.
By the way FUCK Keith Richards and DOUBLE FUCK  Jimmy Page!  Pete blows them
both away.
Don't confuse simple observations and discussions with lack of love and
respect.
Pete is the man, dare I say he is my step-father (haven't told him about
that yet).  You fuck with Pete, and you'll have to answer to me and my
flying fists.  ***THAT'S*** how strongly I admire the man.
I'd rather spend an entire year with a yelling crack-hoarse voiced Pete
fucking up on guitar left and right, than one second with any other
musician.

Never thought of nuts as a set.   Guess you're right there though. ;-)
