The Who on the brain

It's interesting how much the who have become so much a part of the culture
and maintaning their Iconic stature through the years.
They come to mind at the oddest moments:
Case in point: I was watching the SEC Basketball game last night between
Auburn and Florida state.  Therewas less than two minutes left in this
extremely tight match. One commentator remarked how one Florida player
fouled by running into an Auburn player,  "he bounced off him like a
'Pinball."  he said.  The other commetator said under his breath  "{like a }
pinball wizard?"  "Yeah Tommy"
"So thats what you were doing in the sixities." he remarked "Elton John and
thewho both ''''''''''' yada yada
And this went on for a good 30- 45 seconds of this tense game!!!!
    It just goes to show how certain words trigger memories,
and how much the Who have become ingrained into the culture that even at a
college basketball game they can ring a few bells.
    Oh well just thought it was an oddity that was worth notice...
