The early years of The Who were full of turmoil and uncertainty. Roger
claims he had been thrown out of the Band and at one time John and Keith
were actually going to leave to (perhaps form Led Zeppelin) join a new
'Supergroup'.Somehow Pete and John must have remained pals as I can recall 
pete saying things as 'We must get John Entwistle a Who single"
or something like that.Also as the years went by, John began to contribute 
more to each Album especially Quadrophenia. What really surprised me 
recently however is when Pete said that He had'nt been to
John's house for 18 years!  Now that is a long time between friends.
