Does it get any better?

Greetings,

I just recieved my 2nd Who video (Quadrophenia being the first) The Who Live
in LA. It was a video of their '89 Tommy tour.

Pardon my french but: HOLY SHIT DID THAT ROCK!!!!!

That was basically my first live Who experience.
I was thrilled to see Pete jump so high banging on the guitar and such it
was awsome! If he could jump that high in '89 how high did he jump in '69??
Screw Air Jordan it should be air Townshend!! (Ok sorry that metephor gets
used way to often)

Rodger was awsome! I'd seen small clips on thsoe cheesy time life hits of
the '70's infomercails of him spinnin the mike around but he was really
whipping it around like it was a nunchuck on this tape!!

John Entwistle. Well um the bass was awsome as usual but did he always jsut
sit there? He barely showed any emotion. It was wired to see Rodger and Pete
jumpin all over the place and John just sittin there strummin th bass.

Phil Collins and Elton John did great jobs.
Patti LasBelle was allright nothing to standoutish or thrilling.
Steve Winwood was um Steve Winwood I dont belive I've ever herd of him
before.
Billy Idol? Hmmm I dont know wasnt excatly thrilled with him I know it was
kind of his character to be bad and trashy I guess but he really didnt fit
in with the flwo of things I guess.

A few other wishes include: Bigger TV, Louder Speakers. I think we're all in
agreement with those 2 :)

Can't wait to watch it agian tomorrow!

Long Live Rock,
Brian Wright
