No, up to Tommy they were played live first. Or at least some of the
material from them.

I wouldn't be upset when Matt (or anyone) doesn't respond; that's just the
way of EMail communication. He never responded to my request to ask Pete if
they might consider playing the new material live before recording it.
Plenty of notes posted here and elsewhere never get a return comment.
