people say when pete wrote face dances and its hard his well of writing dried up. can we remember a few things: 1. he was on drugs 2. didnt like being in the who 3. he did write after the fire 3 yrs late(which i contend was a great song, better than anything on FD or IH) 4. and when he wrote FD, for his solo album empty glass he wrote let my love open the door which was a big hit
