Guitar World "Who References"

A couple of Who references in the new issue of Guitar World. Paul McCartney
is interviewed regarding his new album release. He was asked if he thought
about using Ringo as his drummer. Paul replies, "Yeah, that would have been
nice. He would have been my first choice, then Keith Moon and Jon Bonnham,
but they are both dead and that would have been difficult."

Next, Paul lists an hour of his favorite music. One of his choices is, 'I Can
See For Miles' by the Who. He explains, "WE USED TO NICK SONG TITLES, John
and I. I've even been inspired by things in the press. 'Helter Skelter' came
about because I read that the Who had made some track that was the loudest,
most raucous rock and roll ever done. And I totally got off on that one
sentence and said to the band, 'We've got to do the loudest, most raucous...'
And that ended up as 'Helter Skelter.' We were the greatest criminals going."
