I first saw the Oooooo in 1972 after listening seriously since'68.
I've now seen 15 shows.
I went to Bridge school with the only expectation of being able to see my
favorite band in person again, something that I thought would never happen
again.
The boys blew my wife and I away, as well as the rest of the audience.
Remember that they followed an exceptional performance by S. Crow, N. Young,
Green Day, Pearl Jam etc. To say the least they were GREAT!!!! 50 something
or not.

Thanks Roy for a great post.
I was just about to post my thoughts to this list and you expressed what I
was feeling, but I'll send my post anyway (giggle). Since I have never seen
the Who (or Roger solo) live in the 60's, 70's, or 80's, the Who are the band
of the 90's for me. I still cannot believe I have seen them in 96, 97, (Roger
in 98) and the Who in 99!! I know there are others on the list that have
never seen them either until the 90's. I am
definitely looking forward to a tour next year. Not a tour of old men,
grandfathers, retirees, but a tour just like what I've seen in the 90's. It
can be all acoustic, electric, theatric, whatever, but I can't wait to see
this fantastic, talented band that can sing, play, have fun, get angry with
each other, hug each other, fuss or curse the audience etc. Janet
