As I understand, somebody posed this question in the chat room at 
petetownshend.co.uk and Pete responded that he doesn't have tinnitis any 
more.  He had treatment in '91 and took care of his hearing and the problem 
disappeared.

It looks like he's been trying it out gradually, playing a little electric 
here and a little there, and it's gone okay.  So he really went for it at 
Vegas, and still no problem.  Somebody said he was jumping up and down and 
making motions at his ears.  Fantastic, huh?

Unfortunately, Pete also mentioned in his response that JAE has a serious 
hearing problem these days.

***I wonder what kind of treatment it was.  That's incredible news! I've
been waiting for someone to post some info. about this.  Is John's the same
problem? While were on the subject of health, do either John or Pete still
smoke?  If so, someone needs to work on them about it.
