Re: Son of Sam

Just caught the movie "Son of Sam" on VHS was hoping it would
b e as interesting as the book,it wasn't, it kinda sucked.
However, the plot revolves around a group of Jersey guys who think
one of their buddies is the "Son of Sam" and is pulling of all the killings,
I don't recall this character in Berkowitz's story or any of the
books,but,in any event
this guys pretends he's English to be cool, wears target and Union Jack
shirts,
has Who Posters all over his room, plays his guitar(he's supposed to be in a
punk rock band,
although this is not a focus)to Baba O'riley as it's his favorite song,
Asks his girfriend who wrote it and she replies "Pete Townshend" as he has
lent her the album to copy.
Call The WHO the "Godfather of Punk".They also play "Wont get Fooled Again"
in it's entirety
near the end during the Climax of the movie.
I read some earlier stuff on David Berkowitz,
and was interested in the movie, and as mentioned it wasn't very good,
However, for a WHo fan it was AWESOME!
