KM biography; "Sell Out"; "Tommy" DVD

Carl,

> While perusing the January issue of Maxim, I came across the review of the
> new Keith book. It was classified as "Borrow" (the others were "Buy" and
> "Bury"). The reviewer stated that some anecdotes were just plain boring,
> but that it did have many hard to find anecdotes. Any thoughts?

It's an outstanding biography and I recommend you purchase it; it debunks many of Keith's self-perpetuated myths and also gives great insight into his life. (Teaser: He took drum lessons!)

Howard,

> I prefer to hear the music in its original context, and my first listen of Sell Out would have packed more punch if I hadn't heard it previously.

I agree; just compare the way "I Can See For Miles" sounds on any compilation to its amazing, menacing power on "Sell Out," following the Rotosound Strings jingle.

P.S. I've heard that the "Tommy" movie is to be released on DVD, but no one can give me a firm date. Does anyone have more information on this release?
