 In response to Sean Wilsons comment:  I am  a female Who fan, have been since
75' .  I was a mere 10 yrs old. It never crossed my mind till I got older &
joined a fanclub & went to shows that I noticed a bigger percentile of men.
Being female never meant I couldn't relate to the music or the mayhem.
Everyone can relate to the the words/feelings Pete writes as well as John. I
recruited my girlfriends when I was young & met my best friend/sis at a WHO
concert in 82 in Oakland, CA.  I am happy to say. It was so great to meet
other women who dug their music and understood it and said more besides Roger
is so cute. 
 Don't give up Sean, we are out there! What was hard on me was having to
educate my husband on The Who and he was born in England! Go figure.
