Speaking of John's memoirs (fun-filled), I remember reading
an interview with the members of TED and Pete was reminded
about John's intended project, or project in the works.  He
laughed and was humorously sceptical about John ever being 
able to finish the project.  He wasn't implying that John 
was incapable, just that John didn't have the concentration
to write something that long.
