I haven't seen anybody respond to the Roger being used question. I don't
recall Roger ever writing any songs for the group. Other than PT deciding to
sing a few leads of his own every now and then, I don't really understand
what the beef would be.
Maybe PT makes more money because of writing royalties. but, I would think
that RD ended up with a pretty good amount of spending money.
PT has admitted to being jealous of RD in the past. The Woodstock chest
thing, the girls always watched Roger etc.. I can't seem to grasp RD feeling
used and abused about anything.
It's only a guess but I think the reason there was no Tommy on the last tour
(other than the tease) was because of RD's resentment of the Broadway
version. I think a crowd response to PBW would have been huge during the
second set.
If anyone can tackle the RD question I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
    J.

P.S. Kenny Jones was a great drummer with the Faces. I agree he had an
impossible job when he came into The Who. Check out "Ogden's Nut Gone Flake"
a classic rock and roll album by the Small Faces. Before RS.
