Off The Wall

I realize that this is a very strange observation, but
I just had to share it with everyone here.

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that when my
daughter, who is 5, gives me a thoughtful, somewhat
puzzled look, she has a remarkable resemblance
to the photo of Pete in THE WHO--MAXIMUM
R&B, page 98.  The one where he's staring rather
pensively into the camera.

Don't get the wrong idea here!  My daughter is
beautiful, and she does NOT have a big nose.
But there's something about the expression she
gets when she's thinking that reminds me of Pete
in that photograph.  I think it's her wide Paul
Newman-blue eyes.

And yes, she is definitely her father's child. <g>
