It wasn't a satellite problem.  The power went out at Wembley disabling
everything including the broadcast.  I agree with your point though -
why then, when there were so many more deserving (eg. Paul Young)?  They
seemed to be really rocking with MG, then poof.  After that, they were a
bit flat (when the power was restored).
