Ok, anyone who attended the shows from Nissan (8/7) on, and who paid attention
during Who Are You? --- what _was_ that furious jam that Pete led the band on
for approximately sixty seconds near the end of the song? I noticed it at
Nissan and listened for it at Va Beach and heard it again: it was Great!....
we had LAL on in the car after the latter and it sounded much like some of the
jamming in MG or Young Man Blues..... it was distinct enough to have been
lifted from another song..... did anyone else notice it or have an idea of
where it came from?
the Zak Starkey homepage described it thus:
"Concert attendees report an extended jam at the end of "Who Are You".
Described as reminiscent of the middle of "Young Man Blues", it came about
when, at the normal ending point of WAY, Pete kept hitting power chords,
walked to the drums, and started jamming. Zak kicked back in, followed closely
by John and then Simon."
