Concert dreams squashed

I to had a similar incident happen to me in '79.  I was 14 and a fan for
about 4 years.  My best friend who I converted were unable to obtain
tickets for Madison Square Garden that September but finally got tickets
for the Spectrum in Philly for December.  Well as we all know the tragedy
in Cinncinnati took place and my father went insane.  I was told that no
daughter of his was going to that concert.  I cried pleaded and tried to
explain that there would be not festival seating at the Spectrum and he
wouldn't hear it.  He took my ticket and gave it to someone at work who's
17 year old son a fan and I didn't get to go or my money back.  I cried for
weeks.
