I wanted to add a couple of things to this, since I'm partly in the
WGFA/PW stage, and partly not, and I find it fairly interesting what
parts of the Who's catalogue most people started out enjoying. For me,
it probably began with the Greatest Hits album, especially WGFA and
5:15. At first listen, I didn't really like Tommy (growin' on me), MG
(does anyone actually _LIKE_ this, rather than find it interesting?),
AQ1, WSO, Quad, or WBN at the start; though liking WBN came quickly, WSO
struck me rather suddenly one day, and I now consider it a work of pure
genius; Quad I'm still struggling with; on the other hand, I've grown
less and less fond of Who's Next with time; I often skip half the songs
on the album.

P.S. I've never really loved PW, though.
