"EB," Lyrics, and Drummers

This, that, and even another thing:

I thought that this was common knowledge, but PT is also doing a RD
imitation during the first part of "Exquisitely Bored," plus making fun of
Californian things..

Some people have been saying that if the recorded song's lyrics don't match
the printed lyrics that come with recording, then RD sang the song
incorrectly. However, what they don't realize is that the lyric sheets are
sometimes printed long before the songs are actually recorded. Sometimes,
how a song is initially written doesn't work as well when they actually
record it. There is some rewriting that does go on during the recording
process. Maybe LROM just sounded better with the lines reversed.

And, to throw another drummer into the mix that hasn't been mentioned so
far, how about Dave Mattacks? Maybe he couldn't or wouldn't have replaced
Keith Moon, but he has been a great drummer for Fairport Convention, The
Richard Thompson Band, and even for XTC's last studio album!
