New material is one thing, but when it comes to reissues, I firmly believe
that "hardcore" (whatever that means) fans should be involved. The artist
rarely seems to remember what "was" and what's important to the fans, and
therefore sometimes has the need to "recreate". Either that, or they let some
unrelated schmo do the job and give a big nod at the end as they aren't
interested in being involved... Voila...
