I prefer to hear the show as played; my ideal L@L would be the whole show
start to finish (of course, with the good sound quality preserved). So
yeah, I like the static & feedback :-)

I have a Baktabak of The Who, but not the same one. Mine's called "Talkin'
'Bout Their Generation" (CBAK 4067), so it may not address your concerns
exactly, but FWIW it's taped interviews (fairly hissy), with no music. The
recording quality is bad enough that non-native English speakers might have
difficulty understanding it all. On the plus side, I haven't seen these
interviews printed anywhere else, and there were interviews with Roger,
John, and Pete -- none with Keith, even though he's mentioned and pictured
on both the slip and disk. I believe the interviews were from 1980-'1.

Perhaps my post failed to make clear my pleasure at the lack of superfluous
flamage in the last day or so, and encouragement to the list to keep up the
good work. If so, I hope this one will rectify the error.
