The original Tommy faces

Hi folks,

I bought the reissue- quite excited, as I heard some piano in the 
underture that I hadn't heard before.  I have to give it a better listen, 
but I also heard some stuff in "Amazing Journey" that I had only heard 
before in Pete's Tommy Demos.

My question is this- in the original cover, I believe that each member is 
pictured twice, except for Roger, any reason?
