     From today's Variety:
      More Corman For Showtime
         By Ray Richmond
HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - The Showtime cable channel has signed a
deal with B-movie king Roger Corman for 11 new camp horror-sci-fi
     titles.
Among the stars featured in the "Roger Corman Presents"
series are George Wendt, Joan Severance, Garrett Morris, Robert
Carradine, Emma Samms, Nick Mancuso, John Rhys-Davies, the Who's
Roger Daltrey, Richard Grieco, Dee Wallace Stone, Corbin Bernsen
     and Alexandra Paul.
Included in the titles are "Vampirella" (based on the cult
heroine of comic books and trading cards) and a sequel to last
year's "Black Scorpion" that returns Severance to her role as a
     masked crimefighter.
The series begins July 13 at 10:15 p.m. and will then screen
     Sundays in that timeslot.
The series premiered with 13 originals last year on which
Corman served as executive producer. He won't write or direct any
     of the 11 films.
