More on bootlegs...

Like I said, I don't own any Who bootlegs, but I've seen a bunch of
ya'll saying how much you paid for this, and how much you paid for
that...and I just think it's kinda weird. I mean, bootlegs are bootlegs,
right? Why don't people just make tape copies for each other? I never,
ever paid for a Pearl Jam bootleg, I either traded them or got them as
presents from other people. Of course, it might have something to do
with the fact that almost anyone can sneak a high quality tape recorder
into a Pearl Jam concert, and they just didn't have that kind of
equipment back in the Who's glory days. But why don't you people with
fancy store bought bootlegs just copy THOSE for other people? If you
have a decent stereo, the quality shouldn't suffer much. And since a lot
of the people on here are good friends and all, it would be a nice thing
to do for each other. Hey, you could save your friend $30 or however
much. Maybe they'd return the favor someday. <shrug>
