My stupid theory

To those of you from AOL who've seen this theory before, I apologize)

I've had this theory floating around in my head for the last few months, and
would welcome comments on it. Let us consider Pete's creative output of the
past few years: He toured with "The Who" in 1989, playing "Tommy." He then
took "Tommy" to Broadway. "Psychoderelict" resurrected "Lifehouse." He's
been involved with the issuance of the box set, and the remastering of The
Who's back catalogue. He just released a solo greatest hits album, and now
he's going to play "Quadrophenia" live.

Does it strike anyone other than me that Pete's been, for lack of a better
term, cleaning up loose ends and "putting his estate in order?" Now I don't
want to seem morbid, but I've spent the last few months helping my parents go
through estate planning, and what they're doing financially strikes me as not
dissimilar to what Pete's been doing musically. I don't want to suggest
Pete's preparing for his death, but I get the strong sense that he's
searching for some sort of closure.

What does it mean? What comes next? I haven't taken the theory that far.
 What do y'all think?
