WF:

I suppose I would do the same, if I was aware that the person was upset
enough to feel like having a confrontation. After trying to resolve it
without violence, of course...there's very little in life worth that, I
think, and even then "winning a fight" hardly ever changes one's mind. But
when faced with one who cannot reach an understanding beyond violence, one
must do what one must do.
Of course, if I'm not aware of the desire for a conflict, then I can be
hardly blamed for not instigating one, now can I?
And I agree completely; I went to Molly Wee's with the express purpose of
meeting as many other listers as I could, and feel I didn't get enough time
with any I spoke with (and wish I could have spoken with more, including
Lauren). Given that I was limited to only one night doing this, having a
long, drawn out (and useless) debate would have only cheated me out of even
that. I don't regret not having it. I do regret not having more time to
spend with the nice people I did meet.
And yes, that includes you WF...believe it or not, folks.
