As someone who has some interest in this subject...
Certainly change is good, as in the case of all Who albums from `67 to `73.
Each was a change, and each was better than the last.
However, when you've achieved perfection...then change becomes change for
change's sake...and that's not a good thing, usually.
In other words, I'm not cutting my hair...why should I care? Or why should
you care, for that matter...
However, I might shave off the goatee again. After all, I just grew it so
I'd look "tough" in NYC, and no criminals would approach me (except perhaps
to greet a fellow criminal, and I was prepared to deal with that).
