Re: The Who Mailing List Digest V3 #266

Le Bar Bat's, huh? Thanks Fang....gotta go dig out my fake
ID...shittttt....

102.7 WNEW in NYC, which as of last fall was in danger of abandoning the
Who altogether, is finally getting the act back together. For all you
NYers, you know that we originally had both 92.3 and 102.7. Then 102.7
played only alternative. Then 92.3 played only alternative. Then 102.7
started to switch back to a mixture, then 104.3 changed to bad classic
rock (Valerie, by Stevie Winwood??)....

In any case, 102.7 has hyped up these concerts big time, and I actually
heard "Had Enough" on the station at around 3:30 yesterday. Last time I
heard that was on a tape of WNEW I have from 1978, when they were playing
it because it was the B side to Who Are You and was the only song from the
album that they had...

Just thought I would mention this. OH, and nobody gave me any
confirmation on the release date for the My Generation disc- anybody know?

Thanks!
