The number to call from the U.S. for tickets to Quad at Hyde Park is
011-44-171-491-8100.

I called a couple of days ago and was told that tickets were being sold to
Mastercard holders only. Apparently, tickets go on sale to everyone else
today. Tickets are 8 pounds each with a 1.50 service charge per ticket, and
there's a maximum of 6 tickets per person.

Re: the show itself--a friend of mine in London told me that it's going to be
a day-long event (from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 P.M.) with a whole long roster of
artists yet to be announced. The only ones announced so far are Eric
Clapton, who is said to be headlining, Bob Dylan, and Alanis Morrisette.

I realize the Who are more popular in America than they are in England, but
how could their performance of Quadrophenia not be the main event? The Who
may not be the headliners, but they're sure to be the highlight of the show
IMHO. And this is coming from a devout Dylanite and Eric Clapton fan.
