BIGGEST LIE

     My favorite big Who lie was in an April Fool's edition of Creem 
     Magazine in the mid-70's.  They reported that The Who's new rock opera 
     was the entirety of The Bible.  It would be released in twelve box 
     sets of 8 records each.  The review said that it got a little slow 
     during the Chronicles and Kings sections, but picked up with Moon's 
     Pontius Pilate in Box 11.  They also said The Who planned to perform 
     it live later in the year at an 80-hour concert.
