I usually judge a city by the sites and the shopping... Sitewise, I found
London boring. While it doesn't look like NYC, it may as well be. Nothing
beautiful about it that makes it standout. To me, it's just a city... As for
the "record fairs"... I went to the London Victoria (very large) and a week
later, Paris (very large). Paris, by far blew it away... completely. Harrods,
well... I bought a Popeye the Sailor in a row boat. 20 years ago, I pair of
Addidas, I don't know, sorta like a bigger Macys... And, speaking of
Shopping... I thought everywhere in Germany blew London away... my only
problem was the German department stores NOT taking credit cards (go
figure...)  Oh well...
