Bad news from MCA...

I just got a letter from MCA... our friends over there... a) are against
"Tommy: Live At Leeds" *, b) think they are doing a great job marketing The
Who, c) feel their web site is adequate & d) feel that "A Quick One" is the
best it can be...

*The reasons for no Leeds "Tommy" are that 1) it would be too similar to the
remastered "Tommy", 2) a "multi" performance of the same would be preferred
3) the performances may be questionable 4) and it may not sell! But, all that
is disqualified by, "this may change"...

Apparently, they feel they've been "burnt" by "hard core fans" (not just Who
fans) bad advice in the past and... ...they haven't heard enough "noise" from
them to warrant any changes (for now...)

So, ladies and gentlemen... if YOU want to make a difference (and, yes, it is
possible), e-mail me and I'll give you the right fax # and or address to
write to... All you really need to say is... "Tommy: Live At Leeds"... (for
now)
