Who's next?  I am, with this , MHO...

The Japanese Polydor vinyl of Who's Next is incredible, tho I suspect 
that the MCA Heavy Vinyl will be as good or, I hope, better.

The current Euro Polydor CD of Quadrophenia sounds rich but claustrophobic
to me; less crisp than the perfunctory MCA, and almost as flat as the 
MFSL.  The mix, I guess, of the album is poorly suited to the CD format, 
perhaps.  

I find that I love the old Polydor mono CD of AQO - Run, Run, Run is a 
revalation in this version, and the mix really makes sense when you get 
the pristene  mono so carefully done here, and not the stereo/mono 
hodgepodge, along with crappy sound on the old MCA.  I'd thought I'd 
crave as much stereo as possible for this album till I heard the Euro 
Polydor, and now it's obsolete!

Just my own ears at work here, of course!
