Boots
Steve asked about the following boots. Here's my 2 cents:
1) Shea '82 - Medium quality audience tape, one of the better shows from the
'82 tour, but not one of the better boots.
2) Cobo Hall '72 - Avoid at all costs. Not '72 at all, but a mix of poor
quality sources.
3) SF '71 - Tape transfer is a little slow, but a great show and decent sound.
Interesting, although tapes of equal or greater quality are around.
4) Excitement at your feet - From the FM broadcast of the Radio City concert.
I thought their Tommy was a little flat, but the 2nd set was great. However,
the best track (I'm A Man) is available on the box set, and some of the Tommy
is on Join Togerther.
5) Tales and Pinball Wizard - both from the same source FM broadcast in '73.
Tales is the better of the two - some tracks are left off the latter. If
you're not familiar with it, get this one, but almost every collector has a
high quality tape of it. Agreat show though.
Hope this helps -
Mason
