Last contact I knew of they hated each other. That was a long time ago. Remember the Townshend/McCartney feud over McCartney's refusal to put down pot? Finally I believe they did a public service ad together, and that was that for that. Now if Weller and Townshend could screw their heads on straight they could make some extremely cool music. JW
