Being only 19, I can't remember many UK ads that featured Who songs, so
here are the ones I know:
1.Pinball Wizard was used in an advert for "National Westminster Bank" some
years ago. A teenager used the "hole in the wall" cash dispenser as a pinball
machine, as the whole building lit up in neon lights.
2.A (crap) English TV show called "You Bet" used "You better, you bet" in
its ads.
3.Recently, a preview of Saturday night programmes used The Who's version
of "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" as backing music.
4.A cinema advert promoting safe sex with a condom used "It's Hard"!
