Well, Turner and the National Bulls Corporation dumped Dream Team IV (:>) like
they were lepers or something. And ESPN...Well, either they think that the
Strongest Man competition deserves more airtime, or there are contractual
restrictions we're not aware of. Does anybody know/care?

I don't think there's any need to prove that. Proving that a bunch of NBA
rejects, CBA and college types can beat the better (albeit weakened)
international teams for the gold is what it is. On the other hand, most of the
better international players, particularly those with current NBA affiliations,
are not playing either: Divac, Longley, Sabonis, Ilgauskas, Stojakovic,
Danilovic et al. There's little doubt that a full-strength Yugoslavia (Greater
Serbia), Croatia, or Lithuania would make toast of Jimmy Oliver & Co.(Celtic
content!).

Still, I think it would be more fun to watch this team defend their
professional/national pride than be exposed to the endless hype, pledges of
allegiance to sportswear empires, dunkoramas, elbowing of 130lb Angolans, and
crotch grabbing of previous Nightmare Teams.
