I've seen this photo many times.
This is the first time, however, that I've really noticed the reflection of the winter tree branches in the background.
It's really quite a great piece of photography.

Pete lost in the forest.
The scary forest of Pete's mind.
Images of desperation and despair.

All sorts of analogies come to mind while staring at this photo.

Just never noticed before....
