Re: touring

Ok, a new album, but I fear this one would come in a very standard way, very conservative, very (pardon) dinosauresque (ugh)...

Nowadays, how can somebody dispute with Radiohead, the world's best band in terms of strength, punch and creative force? IMO, only the '70's The Who were so strong, but as we all know today is 2003, not 1970 (Live at Leeds), 1971 (Who's Next), 1973 (Quadrophenia), 1975 (By Numbers), or even 1978 (Who are You)...

I do love this debate - no rights, no wrongs.

My thought - If Pete, Rog, Rabbit, and Zak wish to get together and play, then crawl into a studio and make new music - good hard edged rock with the odd statement. Create a new band name, and then tour it. Fill out the sets with some classic Who stuff, and the odd Townshend solo masterpiece.

Then I'd be excited.
