Here's the last paragraph:
One lesson from his nightmare: 12 detectives sent to
arrest one ageing rock star for looking at images
isn't simply the police being hamfisted but the police
being hams. If paedophilia was the pathology of the
rock star they were going after, sending a dozen
police to arrest him is the pathology of the police.
And that augurs more brutish consequences for all of
us than anything on the net.
