You Better You Bet: As I exited The Joint at the Hard
Rock Hotel after The Who's Sept. 14 concert, I had a
feeling I'd just witnessed the year's top Las Vegas
concert. Listening to a recording of the event --
recently made available for sale by the band -- only
confirms my belief that Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey
and their touring bandmates provided Las Vegas with
its finest live experience in 2002.
