Apparently they did so to him and his lawyers in
private.  The Internet Weasel Foundation has not made
any public statement about Pete since their vice-chair
Mark Stephens was denouncing him on Jan. 12th and
13th.  They apparently had no problem with Stephens
violating their own confidentiality policy when it
came to smearing Pete, but when it comes to issuing a
retraction or apology, they now hide behind that same
policy.

And now that the matter is "sub judice" - under
investigation by the law - it apparently can't be
specifically discussed in the UK press at all.  So,
they all got their digs in and now get to hide behind
confidentiality policies and legal obfuscation.

I have a feeling nothing is going to be said about the
followup questioning this month if it even occurs. 
Nicola Joss, Pete's assistant, said that the matter
might not be resolved until May.... maybe in time for
Pete's birthday?
